College football rivalry week odds, schedule: Ohio State, Michigan face off to close regular season

Publish date: 2024-06-22

Since the first College Football Playoff rankings of the year came out three weeks ago, none of the top eight teams have lost. That will change this week when Michigan and Ohio State face each other in the final week of the regular season. The Wolverines are favored ahead of that game in Ann Arbor. Of course, that isn’t the only rivalry game of the week. Here’s a look at the odds for college football’s rivalry week.

This week’s schedule features the Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State on Thanksgiving and 13 games on Friday with eight top 25 teams in action, including Oregon hosting Oregon State. The Beavers could not take down Washington last week and are out of the Pac-12 race, but can ruin the season for their rivals. The Ducks are favored by two touchdowns.

Among the other rivalry games affecting the CFP race, Georgia is favored by more than 20 points at Georgia Tech and Alabama is a two-touchdown favorite at Auburn. Florida State also takes on Florida in the first game without Jordan Travis. The Seminoles are touchdown favorites without their injured quarterback, although Florida is also without Graham Mertz. Both Travis and Mertz got hurt last week.

Several conference title game spots are still to be decided. Four of the 10 title games that will take place next week are set (ACC, SEC, MAC, Conference USA), while three will likely involve messy, complicated tiebreakers (Big 12, Mountain West, AAC).

Here are the odds for games featuring an CFP top 25 team, plus a few other notable games in Week 13. Every top 25 team is in action.
