Western Idaho Fair announces 2022 grandstand concert series lineup
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Can it be summer yet?
The Western Idaho Fair has announced its ICCU Grandstand Concert Series for this year's Western Idaho Fair. And, it's a big, big lineup of show-stopping entertainers for five August nights in a row:
- Chris Janson: Monday, Aug. 22
- Ja Rule & Ashanti: Tuesday, Aug. 23
- Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo: Wednesday, Aug. 24
- Stone Temple Pilots: Thursday, Aug. 25
- Billy Currington: Friday, Aug. 26
What make's this lineup so special? The ICCU Grandstand Concert Series is helping celebrate the Western Idaho Fair's 125th anniversary. Concert attendance is free with paid admission to the fair, but limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates for the concerts will open at 6 p.m. and shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Fair is celebrating its 125 Anniversary this year – although there have been a few years the fair didn’t take place due to World War I and World War II, and 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic (although a 4H and FFA Show and sale was held).
